The Mariott Royal Aurora opened in 1999 in the historical center of Moscow, just 2 minutes from the Bolshoi Theatre and 5 minutes from the Kremlin. The concierges of the hotel are members of the regional public organization “Golden Keys of Concierges”, which is the Russian branch of the International Union “Les Clefs d’Or”. The staff of the hotel speak Russian, English, French and German. The hotel was the 1st one not only in Russia but also in Eastern Europe to offer its guests butler service. Every guest of the hotel who paid a special price for his room can have a butler at his disposal. The new tariff includes also a wide range of additional services, such as the right to use Concierge Lounge, cosmetics and accessories of the leading manufactures of cosmetics; video player and a collection of videotapes in his or her room, CD-player, inscribed paper for letters and visit-cards with the telephone of the hotel. Each client has his personal butler who can wake him up in the morning and bring him breakfast and juice to the room, if the client wishes. The butler can also unpack and pack things up into a suitcase or carry the clothes to the laundry.
